The number of groups increased to fourteen; thanks to the arrival of a significant number of specialists, the groups were divided into children’s and teenage groups. The first Magen Mishpacha summer camp was held in the Czech Republic. The NPO’s budget crossed the threshold of 1 million shekels (approx. $300K). Most of the expenses are covered by the NPO’s own income, less than half by government grants

The beginning of cooperation with David Yellin College, one of the oldest colleges in the country. The one-year joint program graduates professionals in two fields. The first stream graduated in 2024, and two new ones have begun

Due to the expansion of funding and the tremendous interest in the project among new war wave returnees, groups are opened in eleven cities and the number of NPO staff grows to 30

The number of groups grows to ten, the first course of “madrichs” (instructors) is successfully completed, and they begin leading groups

Pandemic. Encounter groups go online and their number grows to six; in parallel, Magen Mishpacha implements two short-term projects of psychological and technical support for people affected by quarantines, as well as a professional online Hebrew course

Receipt of the first state subsidy for the “Encounter” project, opening of the first four permanent groups in three cities

Recognition of Magen Mishpacha NPO as an organization entitled to execute state orders and provide tax benefits to patrons. Start of the pilot stage of the “Meeting” project

Registration of the official non-profit organization Magen Mishpacha. Ms. Keren Fishzon becomes Chairman of the Board and CEO. The NPO has more than two hundred volunteers who deal with hundreds of inquiries about misadventures in the jungle of local bureaucracy

“Magen Mishpacha” is being established as a social movement that is mainly concerned with protecting the rights of parents and returnee children and fighting against the arbitrariness of social and municipal services
